Euan is a Partner in the Dispute Resolution Group at RK, with 18 years’ experience practicing in the UK.
He advises across a range of commercial disputes, including unfair prejudice petitions and shareholder claims, warranty disputes under Share Purchase Agreements, and commercial fraud and consequential asset tracing claims. He has significant experience in claims commonly coming out of company insolvencies, in particular pursuing directors for breaches of duty, fraud, preference and wrongful trading claims, and has advised also in auditor negligence claims.
Euan otherwise has considerable experience in international disputes, with a particular focus on the Oil & Gas industry, and has represented clients in the UK High Courts, and in international arbitrations including ICC and LCIA. Within the Oil & Gas sector he has acted on both sides of Operator/Contractor disputes arising out of drilling services disputes (onshore and offshore), and has acted in operator/non-operator disputes arising out of transportation and asset sharing agreements, farm-ins, JVs and other inter-operator agreements. He also advises on construction disputes, including adjudications.
After originally qualifying and practicing in New Zealand, Euan moved to the UK in 2001. He is qualified as a Solicitor-Advocate with Rights of Audience in the Higher Courts.
